The items section covers the full tradeable catalogue with daily volume, buy limits and alchemy values joined by game id.
Full price series run back to June 2008 where the exchange history lane has data, plus the Grand Exchange Common Trade Index — 5,846 daily points.
One row per item
All 7,323 tradeable items share one schema: current price, daily traded volume, buy limit per 4-hour window, and high-alch value keyed by the same game id the client uses.
Joining on the game id is what lets a single search index answer questions across columns — which staples move tens of millions of units a day (Spirit shards sit far ahead of everything else), which nature rune-style consumables anchor whole economies, and which high-alch values put an item above its own street price.
History and indices
Per-item price history runs back to June 2008 wherever the exchange history lane reports data, giving eighteen years of daily closes per item series.
Alongside the item series sits the official index track: the GE Common Trade Index records 5,846 daily points, a market-wide baseline that predates most of the items trading today.
Both series render directly in GE history charts — no aggregation step, no sampled preview.
Where to start
Economy-first readers usually want one of three tools. The high-alch vs GE check ranks all 7,323 priced items by the profit margin between alchemy value and street price. The drop probability calculator converts any 1-in-N rate into kills-to-target-chance. And the XP calculator anchors levels 1–126 against the shared XP curve used by all 29 skills.
Everything those tools display resolves back to the same versioned pulls behind the items section — one dataset, one set of numbers, everywhere.
