Grand Exchange guide prices and traded quantities in one history

Choose an item in the Grand Exchange tool to open its recorded guide-price history. Daily candles describe the guide price, and the table shows traded quantities for the dates that have them.

A guide price is a planning reference. It does not tell you the price at which a new buy or sell offer will complete.

Read price and quantity together

Open the nature rune and follow its price chart. Compare the price date with the quantity row for that same day; an absent quantity is not evidence of zero trading.

Compare against the wider market

The Common Trade Index chart provides a longer market reference, with observations reaching back to the end of 2008. It is an index rather than the return on a portfolio you own.

Work through a trade

The Grand Exchange guide works through an item, quantity and offer-price example. In the trade planner, use the prices you intend to offer and keep its fee-model assumptions in view.

The alchemy calculator compares alchemy value with the item and rune costs. Its estimate still depends on the prices at which you can obtain those inputs.
