RuneScore is Jagex's official achievement score: 4,155 achievements carry points, and 792 of them award zero because they resolve by luck rather than skill.

The score has been displayed in the hiscores Community tab since 10 September 2018. No structured, filterable achievement explorer has ever shipped alongside it.

How the score works

Every scored achievement converts to a fixed point value, and those points accumulate into the total shown beside your name in the Community tab. The design intent is legible in the numbers: points reward breadth across content — questing, skilling, bossing, seasonal events — rather than repetition inside any one activity.

The zero-point population is the interesting part. Those 792 luck-based entries — drops decided by random chance rather than effort — still appear in the achievement log when unlocked, but contribute nothing to the total. Jagex is explicitly refusing to award score for gambling outcomes, however rare the drop.

Eight years without an explorer

Since September 2018 the score has been visible, but the achievements behind it have never shipped with filters, grouping or progress views in an official surface. Players who want to know which scored achievements remain have had to rely on community pages of varying freshness.

That gap is the reason this database treats achievements as data rather than decoration: counts like 4,155 and 792 come straight from structured pulls, the same discipline applied to the quests section and its 363-entry quest list.

Until an official explorer exists, the honest state of affairs is this: the score is official, the breakdown is community-maintained, and both facts belong in the same sentence.
